Skills Assessment and Gap Training (SAGT) Program

Experience counts, particularly when it’s formally recognised.  If you currently work in the building and construction industry and are not qualified or have previously worked in the building and construction industry and are looking to return to it but don’t hold a formal qualification, perhaps Skills Assessment and Gap Training (SAGT) is right for you.

Gimbal Training is an approved registered training organisation (RTO), funded by CSQ to reduce the cost of gaining your nationally recognised qualification. Contact us if you are interested in any of the following trades (eligibility requirements apply):

  • CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry
  • CPC30611 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
  • CPC31211 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining
  • CPC31311 Certificate III Wall and Floor Tiling

  • CPC32313 Certificate III in Stonemasonry (Monumental/Installation)
  • MSF30413 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing

If you’re eligible, you could save $2,200 on getting your Certificate III trade qualification. Funding is limited and eligibility requirements apply.

Higher Level Skills

If you currently work in the construction industry and are seeking to increase your knowledge or move into a higher-level role, then the Higher Level Skills program is for you.

The Higher Level Skills program provides nationally accredited qualifications including Certificate IV and Diploma. The Higher Level Skills program is targeted to existing workers in the building and construction industry to assist in career development and is designed to help you gain new skills and knowledge.

Gimbal Training can help you get your higher level building and construction qualification which can lead to a QBCC low-rise or medium-rise builders licence, and if you have existing knowledge and skills we will recognise these via our recognition of prior learning (RPL) pathway, reducing the time it takes to get you qualified.

We have funding for eligible participants in the following qualifications:

  • CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)
  • CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction

If you’re eligible, you could save $2,200 on your Certificate IV in Building and Construction or $3,300 on your Diploma of Building and Construction. Funding is limited and eligibility requirements apply.

To find our more about CSQ funding and eligibility call us on 1300 GIMBAL (1300 446 225) or click here to enquire online.
