Gimbal’s Certificate IV in Building and Construction – Building (CPC40110) is designed to minimise the time and effort for trades persons, builders and professionals wishing gain their formal qualification. If you have trade experience and time in industry, our recognition of prior learning (RPL) program means you don’t have to spend 10 months in a classroom, after hours and on weekends. Our blended RPL pathway recognises your existing skills and knowledge through a process of evidence collection, meaning minimal disruption to your business and personal life.
This qualification is designed to meet the needs of builders and managers of small to medium-sized building businesses, and meets the technical requirements to gain your licence with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) and the Department of Fair Trading.
The builder may also be the appropriately licensed person with responsibility under the relevant building licensing authority in the State or Territory. Builder licensing varies across States and Territories and additional requirements to attainment of this qualification may be required.
