MSF31113 Certificate III in Cabinet Making

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a range of skills at trade-level for those working in furniture making and those involved in the manufacture and installation of fitted furniture typically in a kitchen, bathroom and related context. There are two pathways offered within the Certificate III in Cabinet Making targeting the skill requirements of free-standing furniture makers and kitchen and bathroom cabinet makers and installers.

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal entry requirements for you to undertake this qualification through an
apprenticeship pathway.

However, in order to successfully complete the course the following must be in place:

  • learner must be signed into a formal training contract
  • employed full time or part time
  • access to a workplace that provides the scope of work to complete the negotiated units of competency
  • access to a computer or suitable device, internet connectivity and intermediate computer
  • skills to complete online course work
