Using a training or RPL organization that you haven’t dealt with previously can be a bit hit and miss. I’m not a person that leaves things to chance, so I sought a referral from people I trust and they put me in touch with Gimbal Training. I was told that Gimbal are the "best in the business" - and having now dealt with them myself I can confirm that as a true statement.
From my initial contact, the team at Gimbal didn’t just answer my questions, they were proactive in ensuring our team had all our ducks lined up so as not to waste our time, money, and energy. They sent us the lists of requirements and followed up with us so we could prepare our team. I was on a strict time limit to get the training completed in time for an upcoming project - and Gimbal made sure that my time constraints were met. The trainers were excellent. Mark has a relaxed and approachable attitude and extensive knowledge of the trade and was always thorough in his training and very responsive and helpful when I needed assistance. Bernard is straight to the point, no nonsense and has a way of engaging learners and ensuring they reach their training goals. The course material was very informative, easy to understand and navigate and did a good job of covering everything required for competence in this trade (Fitting/machining) which would be difficult considering the amount of difference methods, tooling, equipment and work that is done in this industry.
