Gimbal Training’s registered training organisations (RTOs) have been delivering training and skills assessment services since 2006.

Australian Construction Training Services Pty Ltd t/a Gimbal Construction (RTO ID 32201) was formed in 2006, as a means of providing a dedicated training and skilling solution to the Construction Industry for the purposes of Trades Recognition and Apprenticeship Training.  With vast experience in the Construction Industry and Vocational Education and Training (VET), Gimbal Construction completely understands the needs of existing industry workers to have their skills recognised and enhanced to achieve formal qualifications.

Engineering Training Australia Pty Ltd t/a Gimbal Engineering (RTO ID 31820) was formed in 2007.  Gimbal Engineering offers skills assessments services throughout Australia, in addition to training apprentices under the QLD Department of Training User Choice program as a pre-qualified supplier, in NSW under Smart and Skilled and in TAS with funding from Skills Tasmania.

Gimbal Training holds many awards for training excellence, notably from the Institute of Trade Skills Excellence, Construction Training Queensland, Construction Skills Queensland, the HIA and Educational Showcase Awards.  In 2007, Australian Construction Training Services was awarded Queensland Training Provider of the Year and was a finalist in the Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Private Training Provider of the Year 2011.  Australian Construction Training Services also won a Gold Coast Business Excellence Award for Trades Professions and Services in 2011 and was a finalist in the Annual awards ceremony.  Australian Construction Training Services have also been nominated for the 2012 Telstra Australian Business Awards.

Relationship-driven skilling solutions is at the core of Gimbal Training’s service delivery promise. Traditionally, learners and employers are told when and where they will train. This approach suits RTOs, however does not take into account or value the client’s needs or expectations. Gimbal Training uses a client-driven approach which:
