Gimbal Training has been excellent to deal with from the very beginning. Andrew from Gimbal came to meet with us face to face, explained the entire process of the certification we were interested in and kept us informed every step of the way. If they didn’t know the answer, they would point us in the direction of those that did. The trainer we were allocated – Steve was also extremely helpful to the student and kept in contact with him constantly. He also helped me with other enquiries from time to time. They epitomize excellent and friendly service and we will continue to use them for our training needs, where possible.

I had a really good experience with Gimbal throughout the whole process. Everything was clear from the beginning, including what evidence I needed to provide and what skills I had to demonstrate. The process was fast, well organised, and the support team was always helpful whenever I had questions. I also want to specially thank Mark, who conducted my interviews and assessments. Using a training or RPL organization that you haven’t dealt with previously can be a bit hit and miss. I’m not a person that leaves things to chance, so I sought a referral from people I trust and they put me in touch with Gimbal Training. I was told that Gimbal are the "best in the business" - and having now dealt with them myself I can confirm that as a true statement. From my initial contact, the team at Gimbal didn’t just answer my questions, they were proactive in ensuring our team had all our ducks lined up so as not to waste our time, money, and energy. They sent us the lists of requirements and followed up with us so we could prepare our team. I was on a strict time limit to get the training completed in time for an upcoming project - and Gimbal made sure that my time constraints were met. The trainers were excellent. Mark has a relaxed and approachable attitude and extensive knowledge of the trade and was always thorough in his training and very responsive and helpful when I needed assistance. Bernard is straight to the point, no nonsense and has a way of engaging learners and ensuring they reach their training goals. The course material was very informative, easy to understand and navigate and did a good job of covering everything required for competence in this trade (Fitting/machining) which would be difficult considering the amount of difference methods, tooling, equipment and work that is done in this industry.

Fantastic course from start to finish (RPL for MEM31922 - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade). I think the duration of the apprenticeship program is sufficient and the assessments we're doing have assisted me in the industry and I am confident I will have the appropriate skills once completing the course. Trainer always helps when I need it and demonstrates great knowledge in the industry.

The things I am learning relate to what I am doing in my job role and scope of work. I feel I am supported and can contact my trainer whenever. I will come out of this qualified and confident in my skills.

Well paced delivered sessions and electives are appropriate to the job role and scope of work. Assessment tasks are relevant and current to what happens in the industry and learners will definitely have all required knowledge. My trainer always demonstrates activities logically and provides good examples. He is also always available.

The choice of electives are appropriate to my job role and scope of work. The training provided I have found is reflective of the trade I am learning and the assessment tasks are also reflective of current workplace practices. Trainer is very helpful and demonstrates knowledge and skills for the Glass and Glazing industry. Apprentices will have the appropriate skills and knowledge once completed.

I would definitely recommend this RTO. They are a very good bunch to work with and is a good online study option. They seek your best interest.
